First Half


The first half saw the Hoosiers take control early on, establishing a commanding lead with a score of 47-32. Their defense was particularly effective, as they managed to block seven shots and steal the ball four times from Rutgers. Andrej Acimovic played a pivotal role in this period, contributing significantly to both ends of the court.


Second Half


In the second half, Indiana maintained their momentum despite some resistance from Rutgers. The Hoosiers' bench added six points to their tally while maintaining strong defensive pressure that limited Rutgers' scoring opportunities. Lamar Wilkerson stood out with his shooting accuracy, making crucial three-pointers that kept Indiana ahead.

A key factor in this game was Indiana's ability to capitalize on turnovers and fast breaks, which resulted in nine points off turnovers and five fast break points. Their shooting efficiency was also notable; they made 50 percent of their field goals and an impressive 43 percent from beyond the arc.
