In their last outing on December 10th, ISU delivered a masterclass performance against Prairie View A&M Panthers with a staggering 107 points on the board compared to the Panthers' 56. The Cyclones showcased their offensive prowess by shooting an impressive 61 percent from two-point range and an even more remarkable 60 percent from beyond the arc. Their defense was equally formidable, forcing a total of 29 turnovers and converting them into 34 points.

The game prior on December 8th saw ISU take down the Iowa Hawkeyes with ease, netting a comfortable scoreline of 90-65. Their balanced attack was evident as they shot over half their attempts successfully from both two-point (56 percent) and three-point range (47 percent). Dominating in points in paint with 46 and capitalizing on turnovers for another solid tally of 25 points underscored their ability to control both ends of the court.

Looking back further to December 2nd when ISU faced DePaul Blue Demons in Chicago, they emerged victorious yet again with a scoreline that read an imposing 99-80. The team's synergy was clear as daylight; dishing out an incredible total of 29 assists which translated into high-percentage shots resulting in over half (57 percent) field goal shooting accuracy.

The upcoming match against FAMU is expected to follow this trend given ISU's recent form. While it would be unwise to underestimate any opponent, especially one like FAMU who will come looking for an upset victory at Ames; however, based on statistical evidence and recent performances it seems like another win is likely within reach for ISU.

Cyclone fans should expect another display of offensive fireworks complemented by relentless defensive pressure that has become synonymous with this team’s identity this season. With such depth in scoring options and tactical astuteness from coaching staff adjustments during games have been timely and effective.

Mark your calendars for December 17th when these two teams clash at James H. Hilton Coliseum at Ames - tip-off is scheduled for evening hours local time zone convenience!
