Iowa State Cyclones Set to Battle TCU Horned Frogs at Schollmaier Arena

As the Iowa State Cyclones prepare to face off against the TCU Horned Frogs at Schollmaier Arena, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The Cyclones have been on a tear recently, and their performance in past games suggests they're not slowing down anytime soon.

TCU Horned Frogs VS Iowa State Cyclones

In their last game on December 22nd against Eastern Illinois Panthers, ISU dominated with an impressive 80 points to the Panthers' 48. Their offensive prowess was on full display as they shot an outstanding 48 percent from the field and a remarkable 89 percent from the free-throw line. Not only did they showcase their scoring ability, but also their defensive skills by limiting turnovers to just eight and stealing the ball six times.

The game prior to that, played on December 17th against Florida A&M Rattlers, saw ISU put up a staggering 96 points while maintaining a high shooting percentage of over 59 percent from both the field and beyond the arc. Their defense was relentless with an incredible fifteen steals contributing to a total of thirty-one points off turnovers.

Going even further back to December 10th versus Prairie View A&M Panthers, ISU hit triple digits with a score of 107 points. They were unstoppable in paint scoring forty-four points and capitalized heavily on turnovers by scoring thirty-four points off them.

The Cyclones' recent performances have been nothing short of dominant. They've shown that they can maintain high-intensity play throughout both halves of each game while keeping mistakes at bay. This level of consistency is what makes them such a formidable opponent for any team.

On the other side, TCU cannot be underestimated as they will have home-court advantage which often plays its own role in energizing teams and could prove pivotal in this matchup. However, given ISU's recent form and their ability to execute plays both offensively and defensively so effectively, it's hard not seeing them coming out on top once again.

Fans eagerly awaiting this clash should mark their calendars for January 20th when these two teams will go head-to-head at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth at precisely 1:00 PM local time (6:00 PM GMT). The game promises excitement and will be broadcasted live on ESPN Networks for those who want to catch every moment of what is expected to be another thrilling victory for Iowa State Cyclones.
