The Cyclones took control of the game early on, ending the first half with a lead and continuing to build on it throughout the second. Their offensive execution was nearly flawless; they shot an impressive 46 percent from the field and were unstoppable inside, hitting 60 percent of their two-point attempts. The team's prowess was also evident from beyond the arc, albeit they only made one three-pointer out of fourteen attempts. However, they more than made up for it with their performance at the free-throw line where they converted an outstanding 81 percent of their shots.

Defensively, Iowa State was just as formidable. They racked up a total of fourteen steals and blocked four shots over the course of play. This aggressive defense translated into points off turnovers; Iowa State scored twenty-three points following turnovers by Kansas State.

The Cyclones also outperformed in rebounding despite being close in total rebounds (31 for Iowa State vs. Kansas State's 33). They capitalized on second-chance opportunities by scoring eighteen second-chance points compared to eleven by Kansas State.

Kansas State struggled to find its rhythm throughout the game due to Iowa State's relentless pressure. The Wildcats managed only a field goal percentage of thirty-eight and were particularly challenged from long range where they shot thirty-three percent. Their free throw shooting was better than their field goals but still lagged behind at sixty-five percent accuracy.

In terms of ball handling, Kansas had difficulty maintaining possession under pressure from Iowa's defense which resulted in twenty turnovers for them compared to just six for Iowa state – highlighting a stark contrast between both teams' ball security.

As fans look forward to future games, they can catch further action involving Iowa state as part of ongoing coverage that will be broadcasted according to scheduled times.
