Cyclones' Offensive Mastery

The Cyclones showcased their offensive prowess throughout the game, ending with an overall field goal percentage of 50 percent. Their performance from beyond the arc was particularly notable as they hit 52 percent of their three-point attempts. This sharpshooting contributed significantly to their total points, with three-pointers accounting for a substantial portion of their offense.

Milan Momcilovic led the scoring for Iowa State with 17 points, demonstrating his versatility by shooting 57 percent from three-point range and contributing three assists. Tamin Lipsey also stood out with his all-around performance, scoring 15 points and dishing out eight assists while maintaining an impressive field goal percentage of 67 percent.

Wildcats' Struggle and Effort

On the opposing side, the Arizona Wildcats struggled to find their rhythm offensively, finishing the game shooting only 33 percent from the field and a mere 18 percent from three-point territory. Despite these challenges, they managed to keep free throw efficiency high at an impressive rate of 93 percent.

The Wildcats did show resilience in other aspects of their game; they matched Iowa State in total rebounds with both teams grabbing 31 boards each. Additionally, Arizona's defense forced turnovers effectively throughout the match but ultimately couldn't capitalize on these opportunities as much as needed to secure a win.
