The Kansas Jayhawks showcased their offensive capabilities at Allen Fieldhouse, converting over half their field goal attempts with a shooting percentage of 52. The team's performance from beyond the arc was notable as well, sinking seven out of sixteen three-point attempts for an impressive accuracy rate of 44 percent. Inside the paint, the Jayhawks were relentless, amassing a total of 50 points which underscored their control in close-range play.

Defensively, Kansas was just as formidable. The team racked up a total of seventeen steals throughout the game which contributed to twenty-eight points off turnovers—a testament to their defensive pressure and quick transition into offense. On top of that, they managed to block four shots from the Hoosiers.

The assists column reflected well on Kansas' teamwork and ball distribution; nineteen assists were recorded by the end of play. This facilitated movement and scoring opportunities across all quarters for them.

On the rebounding front, both teams fought hard but it was Kansas who edged out with thirty-five rebounds compared to Indiana's thirty-two. Of these rebounds for Kansas, nine were on offense creating second-chance opportunities that resulted in eight additional points.

Despite being fouled fifteen times during gameplay leading to free throw chances for Indiana—who capitalized by making sixteen out of twenty—Kansas maintained composure and discipline throughout each half.

The visiting Hoosiers struggled against this robust defense put forth by Kansas but still had moments where they shined individually and as a unit. They managed six three-pointers on nineteen attempts resulting in a thirty-two percent completion rate from long range and converted fourteen two-pointers from thirty-four attempts marking forty-one percent success rate inside.

Indiana also showed strength under their own basket with nine blocks against attempted shots by Kansas players; however, it wasn't enough to deter or significantly disrupt KU’s offensive flow or momentum during this matchup.

As fans look forward toward future games after witnessing such commanding performance by their beloved Jayhawks at Allen Fieldhouse—a venue known for its electrifying atmosphere—the next scheduled game is set against Harvard Crimson at home once again on December 23rd at midnight CST (Central Standard Time). Fans can catch this upcoming contest live nationally on ESPN2 channel two hundred nine.
