From the opening buzzer, the Kansas Jayhawks set an aggressive pace against their opponents. The home team's offense was in full swing, racking up 44 points in the first half and adding another 39 by game's end. Their shooting accuracy was on display with a remarkable field goal percentage of 58 percent and an impressive three-point shooting rate of 44 percent. The Jayhawks' two-point attempts were particularly effective, with a success rate of 63 percent.

Defensively, Kansas proved to be just as formidable. They tallied four blocks and seven steals over the course of play, contributing to ten turnovers for the Cowboys. This defensive pressure limited Oklahoma State to scoring only seven fast break points and twelve points off turnovers.

The Jayhawks also excelled in teamwork and ball distribution; their players combined for a total of twenty-two assists which is more than double that of their opponents'. This facilitated an assists turnover ratio that stood at an impressive 2.2 for Kansas compared to just 0.8 for Oklahoma State.

On rebounds, Kansas showed dominance by securing forty-one compared to thirty from Oklahoma State, including thirty-six defensive rebounds which helped minimize second-chance opportunities for their adversaries.

The free throw line also saw success from Kansas with a conversion rate of seventy-eight percent while holding Oklahoma State to sixty-three percent from theirs.

As fans look ahead after this commanding performance by the Jayhawks, attention turns toward their next challenge where they will face off against Houston Cougars at Allen Fieldhouse on February third at three o'clock PM Central Time Zone.
