Additionally, Kansas fought hard for rebounds but ultimately fell short with thirty-three total rebounds compared to Gonzaga's thirty-eight.


On individual performances for Kansas, there were bright spots despite the loss. Their ability to convert turnovers into points was evident as they scored fourteen points off turnovers – matching what they conceded on this front – and edged out second-chance points by one over Gonzaga’s thirteen.

As for shooting efficiency from different ranges, Kansas hit forty-one percent from three-point range and thirty-eight percent from within the arc but struggled significantly more than their opponents at free throw line making only fifty-six percent of those shots.
