At Bramlage Coliseum, the Kansas State Wildcats demonstrated a robust defense and an efficient offense. Both teams ended with six blocks each, but it was the Wildcats' nine steals that helped tilt the balance in their favor. Offensively, Kansas State outperformed UCF with higher shooting accuracy; they boasted a 43 percent field goal percentage compared to UCF's 34 percent and were particularly effective from beyond the arc with a solid 38 percent three-point shooting performance.

Kansas State also excelled at ball distribution and capitalized on turnovers. They recorded 18 assists and scored 17 points off turnovers while maintaining an assists turnover ratio of 1.64. In contrast, UCF managed only 12 assists and scored fewer points off turnovers at just 16.

The rebounding battle was narrowly won by Kansas State as well; they grabbed a total of 40 rebounds against UCF's tally of 36. This included crucial offensive boards that led to second-chance opportunities resulting in an additional sixteen points for Kansas State.

Free throws were another area where Kansas State shined brightly; they hit an impressive rate of approximately seventy-eight percent from the line on twenty-three attempts which contributed significantly to their scoring run throughout both halves.

A key highlight for fans was watching how effectively Kansas State controlled both halves of play – starting strong with thirty-five points before halftime and adding forty-two more after it – without allowing any lead changes or ties throughout the game.

Looking ahead, fans can mark their calendars for when The Kansas State Wildcats will face off against West Virginia Mountaineers at WVU Coliseum in Morgantown on January ninth at seven o'clock PM Eastern Time. This matchup promises to be another exciting chapter in this season's campaign and will be available for viewing on ESPN+ via internet broadcast networks.
