Wildcats Claw at Cougars' Lead but Fall Short in Provo Showdown

The Kansas State Wildcats, with a season record of 0-0, faced off against the 21-ranked Brigham Young University Cougars, who held a record of 0-0. In a closely contested match at the Marriott Center in Provo, Utah, the Wildcats were unable to secure victory, succumbing to the Cougars with a final score of 66-72.

The Cougars scored fourteen points off turnovers thanks to nine steals and maintained higher assist numbers with eighteen assists contributing significantly towards their field goals made tally which stood at twenty-seven out of sixty-three attempts.
