Can Louisville Cardinals Rebound Against Boston College Eagles' Onslaught?

Their defensive efforts were highlighted by eight steals and one block during playtime but were overshadowed by committing two team turnovers and personal fouls totaling sixteen.


On offense, despite taking fewer shots than their opponents (51 field goal attempts), they struggled from beyond the arc hitting only four out of seventeen three-point attempts which translated into a low three-point shooting percentage of just twenty-four percent. Inside scoring was also limited for them as they managed only twenty points in paint.


The Boston College Eagles had a more effective offensive game plan that resulted in higher field goal percentages: forty-three percent overall and fifty-two percent from two-point range. They capitalized on turnovers scoring seventeen points off them compared to twenty-two by Louisville and dominated inside play with thirty-two paint points.


Moreover, rebounding played a significant role where Boston College outperformed Louisville collecting forty-two rebounds including ten offensive boards leading to eleven second-chance points; whereas Louisville grabbed thirty-one rebounds six being offensive ones resulting in just one second-chance point for them.
