The match at Bud Walton Arena saw an intense battle where both teams displayed remarkable offensive skills. The LSU Tigers, despite their loss, showed tenacity throughout the game. They managed to put up 83 points on the scoreboard with a commendable field goal percentage of 45 and were particularly effective in scoring from two-point range with a success rate of 51 percent.

The team's effort in paint was noteworthy as they scored an impressive total of 48 points in that area. Additionally, they capitalized on turnovers by adding another 16 points off them. The fast break also proved fruitful for LSU as they accumulated 16 fast break points.

However, it wasn't just about offense for LSU; their defense managed to force nine steals over the course of the game. Despite not recording any blocks and having committed more personal fouls than Arkansas with a total of 21, their defensive efforts created opportunities that kept them competitive.

On offense, free throws were an essential part of LSU's game plan as they made it to the line for a total of 26 attempts and converted them into points at a rate of approximately 69 percent. Their three-point attempts were less successful though, making only five out of eighteen attempted shots which translates into just about a quarter being successful (28 percent).

Rebounding was another area where LSU showed hustle but ultimately fell behind Arkansas; collecting only one team rebound and finishing with thirty rebounds overall compared to Arkansas' thirty-four.

Looking ahead after this tough encounter on court against Arkansas Razorbacks, Louisiana State University Tigers will be hosting Missouri Tigers at Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge on March 9th at around half past seven in the evening local time (7:30 PM). Fans eager to support their team can tune into SEC Network for live coverage from Baton Rouge as Louisiana State University looks forward to bouncing back from this setback.
