Maryland Terrapins' Efforts Fall Short Against Purdue Boilermakers in a High-Scoring Showdown

First Half


The opening half saw the Boilermakers establish dominance early on, scoring 49 points compared to Maryland's 28. The Terps struggled with their shooting accuracy, achieving a field goal percentage of just 39 percent. Despite this, Andre Mills made notable contributions with his consistent performance on both ends of the court.


Second Half


In the second half, Maryland attempted to rally back but was met with strong resistance from Purdue's defense. The Terps managed to add another 35 points to their tally but couldn't close the gap significantly as Purdue continued their offensive prowess by adding another 44 points. Solomon Washington showed resilience by contributing effectively in rebounds and scoring.

Key Performances


Andre Mills stood out for Maryland with his efficient shooting and playmaking abilities. On Purdue's side, their three-point shooting was exceptional at a rate of 50 percent which played a crucial role in maintaining their lead throughout.
