Alabama Crimson Tide capitalized on turnovers scoring seventeen points off turnovers compared to thirteen by Memphis despite committing more themselves at nineteen versus ten by Tigers. They also had higher assist turnover ratio at approximately zero point eighty-nine against one for Memphis indicating better ball handling under pressure.
