Memphis Tigers Edge Out Texas A&M Aggies at FedExForum in Men's Basketball Showdown

The Memphis Tigers improved their season record with a hard-fought victory over the Texas A&M Aggies at FedExForum, ending the game with an 83-79 scoreline. The Tigers showcased a strong offensive performance, while the Aggies fought valiantly but fell short.

The home team, Memphis Tigers, displayed an impressive shooting efficiency from inside the arc, converting 63 percent of their two-point attempts. Their overall field goal percentage stood at 56 percent as they made 29 successful shots out of 52 attempts. From beyond the arc, they managed to hit five three-pointers at a rate of 36 percent. They dominated in rebounding by collecting thirty-seven boards compared to Memphis' twenty-six rebounds which included twelve offensive rebounds that led to eighteen second-chance points for them.


Despite trailing behind in terms of shooting accuracy and points in paint where Memphis scored thirty-eight against Texas A&M's twenty-eight; The Aggies managed to keep things competitive until late into the game due largely thanks to their ability to convert opportunities into points especially after turnovers where they scored twenty points off them.
