In their last game against Stonehill Skyhawks, the Hurricanes dominated with a resounding 97-59 victory. Their offensive prowess was on full display as they shot 49 percent from the field and an impressive 38 percent from beyond the arc. The team also excelled in rebounding, grabbing 52 boards including 16 offensive rebounds which led to 24 second-chance points.

Prior to that, Miami faced La Salle Explorers and secured an 84-77 win. Once again, they were efficient offensively with a field goal percentage of 52 and converted free throws at an excellent rate of 86 percent. Their ability to score in transition was evident as they accumulated 17 fast break points.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for Miami; they encountered a setback against Colorado Buffaloes where they lost by a score of 90-63. Despite shooting well from three-point range at 40 percent, turnovers proved costly as they gave up possession twenty times leading to fifteen points off turnovers for Colorado.

Analyzing these trends suggests that while Miami has had some defensive challenges particularly in terms of turnovers and personal fouls, their offense has been consistently strong especially inside the paint where they've scored heavily.

The upcoming game against Duke will test Miami's resilience and ability to maintain their offensive efficiency while tightening up defensively. Fans can expect high energy levels from both teams but particularly from Miami who will look to leverage home-court advantage at Watsco Center—a venue known for its vibrant atmosphere which could play into the hands of the Hurricanes.

The showdown is scheduled for February 22nd and fans can catch all the action live on ESPN Networks or attend in person at Watsco Center located in Coral Gables, Florida.
