In their last game against the Gators, despite a valiant effort that took them into double overtime, Michigan fell just short with a scoreline of 101-106. Their shooting from beyond the arc was impressive at 46 percent, but it wasn't enough to secure victory. This loss highlighted some defensive vulnerabilities as they allowed over 100 points and struggled with turnovers.

However, redemption came when they faced Eastern Michigan Eagles at home. The Wolverines dominated with an 83-66 win that showcased their offensive efficiency and ability to control the paint. They shot an outstanding 54 percent from the field and converted on two-point attempts at an impressive rate of 63 percent.

The trend continued when they traveled to face Iowa Hawkeyes; this time securing a solid road win with a score of 90-80. Their free throw accuracy was notable at 82 percent alongside maintaining good ball movement which resulted in high assist numbers.

With these performances in mind, fans can expect Michigan's offense to be sharp against Rutgers. However, consistency on defense will be crucial for them if they aim for another victory at Crisler Center – known for its vibrant atmosphere which often acts as a sixth man for the home side.

The upcoming match is scheduled for February 3rd at Crisler Center in Ann Arbor and will be broadcasted nationally on BTN network channel 610 starting at 9 PM local time (Eastern Time Zone). Fans should look forward to seeing whether Michigan can capitalize on their home-court advantage and continue improving their defensive play while maintaining offensive prowess demonstrated in previous games.
