Wolverines' Efforts and Standout Performances


Despite falling short in this matchup, several Wolverines players made notable contributions. Vladislav Goldin led his team with 14 points and secured six rebounds, demonstrating his presence on both ends of the court. Roddy Gayle and Nimari Burnett each added 11 points to Michigan's tally. Purdue showcased depth in scoring as well as defensive prowess by recording fourteen steals over Michigan’s four and limiting their own turnovers to just six for the entire game. Their efficiency was evident across various aspects of play; they achieved a higher true shooting percentage (64 percent) than Michigan (51 percent) and were more effective inside paint scoring forty points against twenty-eight by Wolverine players.
