First Half

The first half saw the Golden Gophers struggling to find their rhythm on both ends of the court. Despite an early lead of 2 points, they were unable to maintain momentum as their shooting percentage hovered around 32 percent. Cade Tyson was a standout for Minny, contributing significantly with his scoring ability. However, turnovers plagued their efforts, allowing IU to capitalize and build a substantial lead by halftime.

Second Half

In the second half, defensive lapses continued for Minny as they allowed IU to extend their advantage further. The Hoosiers dominated in points in the paint with an impressive conversion rate of 80 percent from inside attempts. The lack of blocks and limited steals from Minny's defense made it difficult for them to mount any comeback attempt.

Key Performances

Cade Tyson emerged as one of Minny's key players despite the loss, showcasing his offensive skills by leading his team in scoring once again. Isaac Asuma also contributed but struggled with efficiency due to tight defensive pressure from IU.
