The Missouri Tigers have been on an impressive run lately. Their recent victory over the Kentucky Wildcats on December 29th showcased their offensive prowess as they racked up 89 points against a ranked opponent. With a field goal percentage of 49 and three-point shooting at an efficient 40 percent, MIZZ displayed remarkable accuracy from beyond the arc. Notably, their free-throw performance was stellar, hitting 82 percent from the line.

Defensively, MIZZ also made their presence felt with nine steals and four blocks in that game. This defensive tenacity coupled with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.71 indicates that they are not only scoring effectively but also playing smart basketball by taking care of possession and creating opportunities for each other.

In another recent matchup against Illinois Fighting Illini on December 23rd, MIZZ again showed their dominance with a high-scoring affair where they put up 93 points. Their field goal percentage was even more impressive at nearly 60 percent and they continued to shine from downtown by converting half of their three-point attempts.

However, it's not just about offense for MIZZ; their ability to turn defense into offense is notable as well – evidenced by scoring a whopping 33 points off turnovers against Illinois Fighting Illini.

The Arkansas Razorbacks will undoubtedly pose a challenge for MIZZ; however, based on recent performances it seems clear that if MIZZ maintains their shooting efficiency and continues to capitalize on turnovers while keeping up defensive pressure, they stand a good chance of coming out victorious in this encounter.

Fans should expect nothing less than an intense battle between these two teams as both look to assert themselves early in conference play. The Tigers' momentum could very well carry them through if they stick to what has been working: sharpshooting and aggressive defense leading to transition opportunities.

Mark your calendars for January 5th when the action unfolds at Bud Walton Arena starting at 7:30 PM CST. For those unable to attend in person, you can catch all the action live on SEC Network channel number six hundred eleven.
