In an intense matchup that saw four lead changes and was tied twice, the Missouri Tigers showcased their offensive capabilities by scoring 38 points in the first half and adding another 49 in the second. Despite their efforts, they were outscored by Seton Hall who put up 42 points initially and finished strong with 51 points after halftime.

The home team demonstrated remarkable accuracy from beyond the arc, converting twelve out of twenty-four three-point attempts which translates to an impressive fifty percent success rate. Their free throw performance was also noteworthy as they made nineteen out of twenty-two attempts, achieving an eighty-six percent completion rate which reflects their focus under pressure.

On defense, however, Missouri had its challenges containing Seton Hall's offense. The Pirates managed to make thirty-three field goals out of fifty-six attempts resulting in a fifty-nine percent shooting efficiency from the field. They were particularly dominant inside, scoring forty-four points in paint compared to thirty by Missouri.

Seton Hall also capitalized on turnovers scoring twelve points off turnovers while Missouri scored sixteen off turnovers from their opponents. Both teams showed similar ball distribution with sixteen assists for Seton Hall and fourteen for Missouri; however, it was not enough for a win for the home team despite having a slightly better assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.17 compared to 1.14 for Seton Hall.

Rebounding was another area where both teams fought hard; though closely matched overall – thirty-one rebounds for Seton Hall against twenty-nine for Missouri – it was perhaps those extra possessions that gave Seton Hall its slight edge.

Looking ahead after this hard-fought battle at T-Mobile Center attended by seven thousand sixty-two fans, attention now turns towards future matchups as fans anticipate more action-packed games from their beloved Tigers.

The next game will see the Missouri Tigers take on Illinois Fighting Illini at Enterprise Center located in St Louis on December 23rd at nine PM Central Time (CT).
