Missouri Tigers Dominate Central Arkansas Bears at Mizzou Arena

From tip-off, the Tigers took control of the game, maintaining a consistent lead throughout both halves with scores of 46 in each. Their offensive execution was near flawless, boasting a field goal percentage of 54 and an even more impressive two-point shooting rate of 70 percent. The team's prowess inside was evident as they racked up 46 points in the paint.


Defensively, Missouri was just as formidable. They out-rebounded their opponents by a significant margin with 47 rebounds to Central Arkansas' mere 22. This included an overwhelming number of offensive boards for Missouri at 19, leading to 23 second-chance points which kept them firmly ahead.


The Tigers also excelled in creating turnovers and capitalizing on them; they stole the ball from their opponents on thirteen occasions and scored an outstanding total of 32 points off turnovers. Their defensive pressure caused twenty turnovers by Central Arkansas while keeping their own count to sixteen.


Missouri's teamwork shone through with eighteen assists contributing to their high-scoring game. In contrast, Central Arkansas managed only eleven assists throughout playtime and had difficulty maintaining possession under pressure from Missouri's defense.


Free throws were another area where Missouri excelled; they achieved an accuracy rate of approximately eighty-two percent from the line compared to seventy-five percent by Central Arkansas.
