Their offense was equally effective; they made ten three-pointers at a 39 percent success rate and were particularly impressive from the free-throw line with an outstanding 87 percent accuracy. The team's overall field goal percentage stood at 42 percent.

One standout aspect of the Tiger's performance was their ability to capitalize on turnovers, scoring 18 points off turnovers compared to just four by Vanderbilt. Moreover, they demonstrated excellent teamwork with sixteen assists and maintained better ball control than their opponents, committing only six turnovers throughout the contest.

On top of that, Missouri showed speed on fast breaks scoring eleven fast break points which contributed significantly to keeping up momentum during crucial moments of play. They also had an assist-to-turnover ratio of four – showcasing efficient ball movement and decision-making on court.

The visiting Commodores were not without merit; they put up a strong fight against one of college basketball's undefeated teams this season. Despite these efforts and having more personal rebounds than Missouri (43 compared to twenty-five), it wasn't enough to secure victory against a determined Tiger squad.
