Cornhuskers Clash with Scarlet Knights at Jersey Mike's Arena

As the Nebraska Cornhuskers prepare to face off against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at Jersey Mike's Arena, fans are eager to see if their team can maintain their recent offensive momentum. The Cornhuskers have shown a robust offensive front in their past games, despite mixed results.

In their last game against the Hawkeyes, Nebraska put up a valiant effort scoring 76 points but fell short defensively, allowing 94 points. Their shooting was impressive with a field goal percentage of 48 and an exceptional two-point shooting percentage of 70. However, they struggled from beyond the arc with only a 15 percent success rate on three-point attempts.

The game prior presented a different story where Nebraska triumphed over the Boilermakers with an impressive scoreline of 88-72. Their offense was on fire that night; they shot an outstanding 51 percent from the field and were lethal from three-point range hitting an incredible 61 percent of their shots.

However, consistency has been an issue for Nebraska as evidenced by another previous game against the Badgers where they scored similarly to their last outing (72 points) but were unable to contain Wisconsin's offense which tallied up to 88 points. The Cornhuskers showed balance in this matchup with a solid field goal percentage of 49 and three-point shooting at 46 percent.

Nebraska fans should look for continued aggression in paint scoring and fast break situations while hoping for improvements on defense and consistency in long-range shooting. As they head into enemy territory at Jersey Mike's Arena, maintaining composure will be key against Rutgers' home crowd advantage.
