Cornhuskers' Offensive Onslaught


The Nebraska Cornhuskers demonstrated remarkable efficiency on offense, shooting 51 percent from the field and an impressive 79 percent on two-point attempts. Their strategy to dominate inside paid dividends as they amassed 34 points in the paint. Brice Williams led the charge with an outstanding performance of 28 points, complemented by six assists and seven rebounds. His ability to find space and create scoring opportunities was pivotal for Nebraska throughout the game.


Another notable contribution came from Juwan Gary who added 23 points to Nebraska's tally while grabbing five rebounds. His shooting accuracy was on display as he hit 60 percent of his shots from the field. The team's commitment to aggressive play was evident through their drawing of fouls leading to 29 free throw attempts, converting them at a rate of 72 percent.


Ducks' Resilient Response


The Oregon Ducks showcased resilience particularly in their second-half performance where they scored 43 points compared to their first half's 28. Despite trailing behind in shooting efficiency at just 40 percent from field goals and struggling beyond the arc with only a 25 percent success rate on three-pointers, they managed significant contributions across their roster.


Their bench stepped up significantly contributing nineteen points but it wasn't enough against Nebraska’s relentless attack. The Ducks excelled defensively with nine steals which contributed to sixteen points off turnovers showcasing their defensive capabilities despite falling short overall.
