Cornhuskers' Key Performances

The Nebraska Cornhuskers' success was underpinned by a collective team effort and standout individual performances. Brice Williams led all scorers with an impressive 28 points, demonstrating his efficiency from both inside and beyond the arc with shooting percentages of 60 for two-pointers and 56 for three-pointers. His contribution was pivotal to maintaining the offensive pressure that defined much of Nebraska's game plan.

Juwan Gary also made significant contributions with 17 points and a double-double performance that included 10 rebounds, showcasing his prowess in both offense and defense. Andrew Morgan added another layer of strength to Nebraska's frontcourt with 12 points and nine rebounds, alongside a block that contributed to Nebraska's defensive efforts.

Hoyas' Standout Efforts

Despite falling short, the Georgetown Hoyas displayed resilience throughout the match. Their second-half performance saw them outscore their first-half efforts by nearly double, but it wasn't enough to overcome Nebraska's lead. The Hoyas were led by spirited performances from their players who fought hard to narrow down what was at one point a 19-point lead by Nebraska.

The victory sets up an exciting encounter for the Nebraska Cornhuskers against Boise State Broncos at T-Mobile Arena.
