Air Force Falcons VS Nevada Wolf Pack

In front of a spirited crowd of 7,645 at the Lawlor Events Center, the Nevada Wolf Pack demonstrated their dominance on both ends of the court. The team showcased an impressive defensive effort with five blocks and four steals which contributed to their victory over the Air Force Falcons. Offensively, they were just as effective; their field goal percentage was a solid 46 percent from both inside and outside the arc.

The Nevada squad capitalized on turnovers scoring 21 points off turnovers compared to only ten by their opponents. Their ball movement was superior as well; they tallied up 15 assists which is slightly better than thirteen by Air Force. This teamwork helped maintain an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.5 for Nevada against a ratio of just one for Air Force.

Nevada's prowess in rebounding was evident as they out-rebounded Air Force with a total rebound count of thirty against twenty-eight by their rivals. They were particularly effective on defense grabbing twenty defensive rebounds while also managing seven offensive rebounds which led to six second-chance points.

From beyond the arc, Nevada hit seven three-pointers achieving an impressive three-point shooting percentage of forty-seven percent that outshone Air Force's forty-four percent despite them making ten three-point shots.

Free throws were another area where Nevada excelled; hitting twenty out of twenty-nine attempts gave them a free throw percentage of sixty-nine percent which played no small part in securing their lead throughout much of the game.

The fast-paced action favored Nevada who scored ten fast break points doubling what Air Force managed to put up under similar circumstances.

Looking ahead, fans can catch The Nevada Wolf Pack back in action when they host Boise State Broncos at Lawlor Events Center on January 12th at 7:30 PM local time (PST). This encounter will be broadcast nationally on Fox Sports 1 channel number two hundred nineteen for those who wish to follow along from afar.
