In front of a spirited crowd at the Lawlor Events Center in Reno, the Wolf Pack demonstrated superior game control and execution. The home team's shooting accuracy was on full display as they achieved a remarkable 54 percent field goal percentage compared to the Rams' 39 percent. Their prowess from beyond the arc was also notable with an efficient 40 percent three-point shooting performance.

The Wolf Pack's defensive efforts were equally commendable. They out-blocked the Rams four to two and managed to keep turnovers equal at nine apiece for both teams. This defensive solidity limited the Rams' scoring opportunities and played a crucial role in maintaining control throughout the game.

Offensively, Nevada excelled in ball distribution with 19 assists leading to well-executed plays that kept their opponents on their heels. Their ability to convert free throws was another highlight as they capitalized on these opportunities by making an impressive 83 percent from the line.

Rebounding was yet another area where Nevada showed dominance by securing 34 rebounds against Colorado State's total of 32. This included eight offensive boards which contributed to twelve second-chance points for Nevada compared to seven for Colorado State.

The Wolf Pack also showcased depth in scoring options with multiple players contributing significantly across various statistical categories, underscoring their balanced team effort against a ranked opponent.

As fans look ahead, they can anticipate watching Nevada take on New Mexico Lobos at The Pit in Albuquerque on January 28th at 8:00 PM Mountain Time (7:00 PM Pacific). This upcoming contest will be broadcast nationally on Fox Sports 1 channel number two hundred nineteen for fans eager to follow their team's progress through this exciting season.
