The North Carolina State team started off trailing in the first half with 29 points against Pittsburgh's 39. However, they came back strong in the second half by putting up an impressive 44 points. Despite their efforts and a higher scoring second half, it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit created earlier in the game.

The Wolfpack showed resilience on offense with a field goal percentage of 46 and were particularly effective from beyond the arc hitting nine out of twenty-three three-point attempts for a three-point percentage of 39. Inside scoring was also a strong point for North Carolina State as they accumulated 28 points in paint.

On defense, both teams managed to block three shots each and made equal numbers of steals at three apiece. The Wolfpack fought hard under both baskets pulling down a total of thirty-four rebounds; twenty-four defensive and nine offensive rebounds contributed significantly to their performance.

North Carolina State's free throw accuracy was notable as well; they made twelve out of sixteen attempts which rounded up to seventy-five percent success rate from the line. However, turnovers were an area where they lagged behind giving away ten possessions compared to just five by Pittsburgh.

The Panthers capitalized on fast break opportunities scoring fourteen fast break points and dominated inside with forty points in paint which played a crucial role in their victory over North Carolina State. They also had better ball distribution evidenced by sixteen assists over twelve from NCST and maintained efficiency shooting fifty percent from field goals overall.

In terms of individual contributions for NCST, every player who stepped onto court played with determination but unfortunately this collective effort did not translate into victory on this occasion against Pittsburgh who proved too strong at home backed by an attendance crowd numbering ten thousand seven hundred fans cheering them on.

As fans look forward to future games hoping for better outcomes for NCST basketball team, they can catch all upcoming matches broadcasted live as per schedule where every play counts towards making or breaking this season’s campaign hopes.
