From tip-off at PPG Paints Arena, the Wolfpack set a strong pace, ending the first half ahead at 37-33. Their offensive efforts were consistent throughout, as they managed to extend their lead by scoring 43 points in the second half. The team's shooting accuracy was notable; they achieved a field goal percentage of 51 and were particularly effective from inside the paint where they scored 42 points.

The North Carolina State players showcased their skills beyond just scoring. They tallied up 15 assists over both halves, matching that of Texas Tech but with better efficiency given their lower turnover rate. The team also demonstrated defensive tenacity by accumulating eight steals and five blocks during the game.

A key aspect of North Carolina State's success was their ability to capitalize on turnovers; they scored 16 points off turnovers compared to just six for Texas Tech. Additionally, they showed strength under both baskets with seven offensive rebounds contributing to second-chance opportunities which resulted in 13 second-chance points.

Free throws were another area where North Carolina State excelled; sinking them at an impressive rate of 81 percent helped maintain their lead throughout. Their three-point shooting also added valuable contributions to their total score as they made five out of thirteen attempts from beyond the arc.

On defense, North Carolina State kept pressure on Texas Tech shooters all night long which is reflected in limiting them to only a 39 percent field goal percentage and a mere six fast break points. Moreover, despite each team pulling down an equal number of total rebounds (33), it was clear that North Carolina State’s defensive efforts played a significant role in containing Texas Tech’s offense.

Looking ahead for fans of the Wolfpack: The next challenge will be against Oakland Golden Grizzlies at PPG Paints Arena on March 23rd at 7:10 PM Eastern Time Zone. This upcoming game will be broadcasted live on TBS for supporters who wish to follow along as it unfolds.
