Wolfpack's Efforts and Standout Performances

The North Carolina State team showed resilience throughout the match. With a total of 60 points scored, they demonstrated moments of brilliance on offense but struggled to find consistency against a tough Syracuse defense. The team managed to convert 34 percent of their field goals and had an impressive free throw percentage of 80 percent. However, they were outrebounded by Syracuse, capturing only 30 rebounds to Syracuse’s 38.

Dontrez Styles emerged as a standout player for North Carolina State with his remarkable contribution of 17 points and two rebounds. His performance was highlighted by an efficient shooting night where he made 43 percent of his field goal attempts and was perfect from the free-throw line. Marcus Hill also made significant contributions with eight points and showcased his defensive skills with one steal.

Syracuse’s Dominant Display

On the other side, Syracuse showcased why they are considered one of the formidable teams this season. Their offensive execution led them to shoot at an impressive rate of 58 percent from the field and secure a substantial number of rebounds that contributed to their victory margin.

The Orange capitalized on fast break opportunities and dominated inside paint scoring with a total of 46 points in that area alone. Their ability to draw fouls proved advantageous as it led them to attempt more free throws throughout the game.

Looking Ahead

As North Carolina State Wolfpack looks ahead, they aim for redemption in their next game scheduled against Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Hank McCamish Pavilion on March 1st at 3:00 PM EDT. Fans can catch all live action broadcasted on ACC Network as both teams vie for supremacy in what promises to be an exciting encounter.
