First Half


The first half saw both teams exchanging leads and showcasing their defensive prowess. The Pack managed to keep pace with the Jackets, scoring 35 points compared to Georgia Tech's 34. Quadir Copeland was instrumental for NC State, contributing significantly on both ends of the court. His performance included crucial steals that helped maintain momentum for his team.


Second Half


In the second half, Georgia Tech surged ahead by scoring an impressive 44 points. Despite this offensive push from the Jackets, NC State fought back valiantly with Terrance Arceneaux leading a spirited effort that kept them within striking distance until the final buzzer. Arceneaux's tenacity on defense was evident as he recorded multiple steals and rebounds.

Darrion Williams also made notable contributions for NC State with his all-around play, including key assists and rebounds that kept his team competitive throughout the match. However, it was not enough to overcome Georgia Tech's efficient shooting performance which saw them convert over half of their field goal attempts.
