In the first half, the Pack struggled to contain Ville's offensive onslaught. The Cards took an early lead with their impressive shooting accuracy. Louisville's field goal percentage stood at an impressive 60 percent by halftime, compared to NC State’s 41 percent. Despite efforts from players like Ven-Allen Lubin who scored consistently in the paint and Terrance Arceneaux contributing defensively with blocks and steals, NC State trailed by a significant margin of 56-36.


Second Half


The second half saw little improvement for NC State as they continued to face difficulties both offensively and defensively. The Cards extended their lead further with effective three-point shooting, hitting an astounding 60 percent from beyond the arc throughout the game. Meanwhile, Darrion Williams tried to rally his team with his defensive prowess but was unable to turn things around as Ville maintained control.
