Looking back at UNT's last game on December 23rd against the Texas-Arlington Mavericks, it was a display of dominance as they secured a comfortable 78-52 victory. Their shooting was particularly noteworthy; with an overall field goal percentage of 53 percent and an exceptional three-point shooting rate of 44 percent, they showed that they can score from anywhere on the court. Moreover, their defensive prowess was evident in their nine steals and three blocks, which contributed significantly to their points off turnovers tallying up to 23.

In contrast, during their December 17th clash with Mississippi State Bulldogs in Tupelo, UNT struggled despite putting up a valiant effort in a neutral setting. They fell short with only one steal and were outrebounded by five boards leading to a loss with a final score of 54-72. However, it's worth noting that even in defeat, UNT managed an impressive free throw percentage of 87 percent.

The most thrilling encounter came on December 10th when UNT narrowly lost by one point against Fordham Rams at Barclays Center in Brooklyn – ending with a scoreline of 59-60. Despite this being one of the closest games for UNT this season marked by six ties and nine lead changes throughout the game duration; it showcased UNT’s resilience under pressure.

The upcoming match-up will require North Texas Mean Green (UNT) to leverage its strengths while acknowledging areas needing improvement from past performances if they are aiming for victory over TLSA. The Golden Hurricane should not be underestimated as they will have home-court advantage and undoubtedly look forward to defending their turf fiercely.

Fans should expect UNT’s players like those who shone previously – exhibiting sharpshooting skills beyond the arc coupled with aggressive defense that has become characteristic of this team’s style under pressure situations.
