Valparaiso struggled to keep up despite their efforts in fast breaks and second-chance opportunities. Their field goal percentage stood at 44 percent, but they couldn't overcome Northwestern's dominance in rebounds and turnovers.

Conclusion

The game highlighted several key moments for both teams; however, it was clear that Northwestern's ability to capitalize on turnovers made all the difference. With only seven total turnovers compared to Valparaiso’s fifteen, this efficiency allowed them to maintain control throughout.
