First Half

In the first half, Notre Dame set the tone with an impressive offensive display. The team scored 41 points, showcasing their shooting prowess by making 14 of their field goal attempts. Brady Stevens was instrumental in this period, contributing significantly to the team's scoring efforts with his accurate shooting from beyond the arc. The Irish's defense also played a crucial role by limiting Evansville to just 29 points and forcing multiple turnovers.

Second Half

The second half mirrored the first as ND continued to dominate on both ends of the court. Sir Mohammed emerged as a key player during this period, adding valuable points and assists that helped extend Notre Dame's lead further. His performance was complemented by Carson Towt’s strong presence under the basket, securing rebounds that prevented any potential comeback from Evansville.

Despite some resistance from Evansville’s offense led by strategic plays resulting in fast break points and three-point shots made by various players, they were unable to close the gap created in earlier quarters. Their efforts were hindered by turnovers and missed opportunities at crucial moments.

Conclusion

Overall, it was a comprehensive performance from ND that highlighted their depth and versatility across different facets of play—particularly evident in their effective three-point shooting which stood at an impressive 56 percent for this match-up against Evansville.
