Ohio State Buckeyes Dominate at Value City Arena Against Alabama A&M Bulldogs

In a display of offensive efficiency, the Ohio State Buckeyes outscored the Alabama A&M Bulldogs 90-59 in a non-conference game at Value City Arena. The Buckeyes' record now stands at an impressive 1-0, while the Bulldogs fall to 0-1. The home team's scoring was split with 36 in the first half and an explosive 54 in the second, whereas the visitors managed 33 and then 26.

The Buckeyes showcased their scoring capabilities with a field goal percentage of 53 and were particularly effective from two-point range, hitting an impressive 64 percent of their attempts. Their free throw performance was less stellar but sufficient, making roughly 59 percent from the line. On defense, they were formidable as well, amassing seven blocks and five steals over the course of play.


The home team also excelled in ball distribution with nineteen assists to ten turnovers, demonstrating good ball control and teamwork. They capitalized on turnovers by scoring thirteen points off them and added seventeen second-chance points thanks to their twelve offensive rebounds contributing to a total rebound count of forty-two.


On the other side of the court, despite being outplayed overall, Alabama A&M had some notable statistics. They shot nearly forty-one percent on two-pointers and thirty-three percent from beyond the arc. However, they struggled with turnovers which amounted to seventeen for them compared to only ten for Ohio State.


The crowd at Value City Arena witnessed a strong showing from their team as evidenced by an attendance figure reaching fourteen thousand five hundred twenty-one fans who saw their team lead throughout most of this encounter after only two lead changes early on.
