Ohio State Buckeyes Narrowly Outscored at Pinnacle Bank Arena by Nebraska Cornhuskers

The Nebraska Cornhuskers edged out slightly better statistics that ultimately led them to victory. They shot over forty-one percent from the field and nearly forty-nine percent on two-point shots while making six three-pointers at around twenty-nine percent accuracy. Their free throw percentage was close to that of Ohio State's at roughly sixty-five percent.


Nebraska also had eleven assists compared to nine for Ohio State and capitalized on fast break opportunities scoring eight fast break points against three for their opponents. With total rebounds almost even at thirty-nine for Nebraska versus thirty-eight for Ohio State, it was indeed a tightly matched contest down till its last moments.
