In their last outing against Wisconsin Badgers, the Buckeyes fell short with 54 points against the Badgers' 62. Despite a solid first half and maintaining a close game throughout, they struggled with field goal accuracy at 41 percent and were outrebounded by a significant margin. Their three-point shooting was more effective at 39 percent but wasn't enough to secure victory.

However, in their previous home game against Maryland Terrapins, Ohio State showcased resilience and determination as they triumphed in double overtime with a score of 79-75. Their free throw proficiency was impressive at 85 percent and they dominated points in paint with 42 scored. This performance demonstrated their ability to maintain composure under pressure and deliver results.

Against Indiana Hoosiers before that, it was another tight contest where Ohio State narrowly missed out on victory by three points (73-76). They managed an almost flawless free throw percentage of 89 but turnovers proved costly as Indiana capitalized with more points off turnovers.

The upcoming game presents an opportunity for Ohio State to leverage its strengths while addressing areas that have been challenging in past games. Rebounding will be crucial as well as minimizing turnovers which have previously allowed opponents scoring opportunities.
