Oklahoma Sooners Dominate Central Arkansas Bears at Lloyd Noble Center

In front of a home crowd at the Lloyd Noble Center, the Sooners showcased their offensive capabilities by scoring 50 points in the first half and adding another 38 in the second. The team's field goal percentage was an impressive 52 percent for the game, with an equally notable three-point shooting performance of 46 percent. The Sooners' defense also played a significant role in this win, as they managed to steal the ball eight times and block three shots.


Central Arkansas Bears put up a resilient fight despite falling short. They scored most of their points in paint (36) and had an efficient two-point shooting night with a success rate of 56 percent. However, turnovers were costly for them as they gave up possession seventeen times which led to twenty points for Oklahoma.


The standout player for Oklahoma was undoubtedly instrumental in securing this win. With ten made three-point shots contributing significantly to their total score, they outpaced Central Arkansas who managed seven from beyond the arc. Additionally, Oklahoma's ability to convert second-chance opportunities into thirteen points while limiting Central Arkansas to just four was crucial.


Oklahoma also excelled on rebounds by collecting thirty-three compared to Central Arkansas's thirty-one and capitalized on fast-break opportunities with nine fast break points against eleven from their opponents.
