The Sooners displayed a strong offensive performance, shooting an efficient 48 percent from the field and an exceptional 87 percent from the free-throw line. Their two-point shooting was particularly effective, with a success rate of 61 percent. The team also excelled in fast-break situations, scoring 15 points. Dominating inside, they racked up an impressive total of 46 points in the paint.

Defensively, Oklahoma was just as formidable. They managed to block four shots and steal the ball eight times from their opponents. The defensive effort contributed to generating twenty points off turnovers. On top of that, their rebounding efforts were notable as they gathered a total of thirty-five rebounds throughout the game.

Key players for Oklahoma stepped up when it mattered most; their teamwork shone through with fifteen assists contributing to their scoring efforts. Despite turning over the ball eight times themselves, they maintained a positive assist-to-turnover ratio of almost two.

On the other side of the court, despite falling short on this occasion, Iowa fought valiantly throughout both halves but struggled with field goal accuracy at only thirty-six percent overall and seventeen percent from beyond three-point range. Their rebounding was stronger than Oklahoma's though; they collected forty-four rebounds during play.

Looking ahead for fans of Oklahoma basketball: The next challenge for your team will be against USC Trojans at LionTree Arena on November 24th at 8:30 PM local time (La Jolla). This game will be broadcast nationally on FOX network where fans can tune in to support their team once again as they take on another formidable opponent away from home.
