In their recent game on February 2 against the Oklahoma Sooners at Lloyd Noble Center, OKST emerged victorious with a score of 71-61. Their offense was firing on all cylinders as they shot 43 percent from the field and an impressive 75 percent from the free-throw line. Dominating in points in the paint with 44 and capitalizing on turnovers by scoring 10 points off them, OKST's aggressive play was too much for the Sooners.

However, it wasn't just their offense that stood out; defensively they were just as formidable. With a total of 42 rebounds and eight steals, OKST stifled many of Oklahoma's attempts to gain momentum. Their defensive prowess will be crucial when facing TCU.

Looking back further to January 29 against Ole Miss Rebels at home, OKST put up an even more dominant performance winning by a margin of 22 points (82-60). They shot an outstanding 53 percent from the field and were nearly flawless from the charity stripe at an incredible rate of 88 percent. This level of efficiency is something they'll aim to replicate against TCU.

Despite these strong performances, it would be remiss not to consider their setback against Texas Longhorns on January 25 where they lost by a score of 75-89. In this encounter at Moody Center in Austin, TX., turnovers proved costly for OKST as they gave up possession sixteen times leading to eleven points off turnovers for Texas. Learning from this loss will undoubtedly have been a focus in preparation for facing TCU.

The upcoming game is set against two contrasting narratives: one where OKST has shown dominance at home but also vulnerability when not controlling possession effectively. The key battle will likely be fought over turnovers and shooting efficiency – areas where both teams have had varied success recently.

TCU comes into this game with its own strengths but will need more than just solid play if they hope to overcome what looks like an increasingly formidable OSU team playing in front of its passionate home crowd.

Fans eager to support their team can mark their calendars for February 4th when tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 PM local time (Central Time) at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater. For those unable to attend in person, you can catch all the action live via ESPN+ online broadcast network.
