The Oklahoma State Cowboys displayed remarkable teamwork with 20 assists contributing to their scoring efforts. Their precision from beyond the arc was notable as they made seven out of 17 three-point attempts, translating to a solid 41 percent shooting performance from deep. Inside, they dominated as well, racking up a significant 42 points in the paint.

Defensively, Oklahoma State managed to disrupt Cincinnati's flow by recording seven steals and limiting them to just one blocked shot attempt on offense. Although both teams committed an equal number of personal fouls at 14 each, it was Oklahoma State's ability to capitalize on turnovers that stood out; they scored 17 points off turnovers compared to Cincinnati's ten.

One area where both teams were neck-and-neck was rebounding; however, Oklahoma State edged out with seven team rebounds contributing to their total count of 26 against Cincinnati's total rebound count of 32. Despite this slight disadvantage on the boards for Oklahoma State, they still managed second-chance opportunities effectively by scoring twelve second-chance points.

As for individual performances that shone through for Oklahoma State – without delving into specific player statistics – it can be said that there were key contributions across the board which facilitated this hard-fought win away from home.
