Ole Miss Rebels Clash with Memphis Tigers at The Pavilion in Men's Basketball Showdown

As the Ole Miss Rebels gear up to host the Memphis Tigers at The Pavilion at Ole Miss, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be a riveting encounter. The upcoming game scheduled for December 2nd is set against a backdrop of recent performances that suggest the Rebels have what it takes to dominate on their home court.

Ole Miss Rebels VS Memphis Tigers

In their last outing on November 29th against North Carolina State's Wolfpack, the Rebels showcased a formidable defense, racking up an impressive nine blocks and seven steals. Their offense wasn't far behind either, as they managed to put up 72 points with a solid field goal percentage of 41 percent and an outstanding free throw completion rate of 85 percent. This victory was built on efficient shooting and disciplined play, which saw them commit only seven turnovers compared to their opponents' thirteen.

The Rebels' performance has been consistently strong in previous games as well. On November 22nd, they narrowly edged out Temple Owls by one point in a thrilling away game that ended 77-76. Their sharpshooting was on full display as they hit an exceptional 56 percent from beyond the arc. Moreover, their ability to share the ball was evident with eighteen assists.

However, it would be remiss not to consider the tenacity of the Memphis Tigers who will undoubtedly come prepared for battle. While statistics from their recent games are not available here, any team stepping into The Pavilion knows they're in for a fight.

The key for Ole Miss will be maintaining their defensive prowess while continuing to capitalize on scoring opportunities inside and outside the paint. If players can replicate or exceed their past performances – particularly by keeping turnovers low and free throw accuracy high – there's every reason to believe that victory is within reach.

MISS fans should expect nothing less than full-throttle intensity from tip-off until the final buzzer if recent form is anything to go by. With home-court advantage and momentum on their side, this could very well be another notch in the win column for Ole Miss Rebels.

Mark your calendars: December 2nd at 7:00 PM local time (Oxford), when all eyes will be fixed on The Pavilion at Ole Miss where ESPN2 will broadcast this highly anticipated matchup live. Don't miss what promises to be an exhilarating chapter in college basketball this season!
