The Pavilion at Ole Miss echoed with cheers as the home team showcased a robust defense and an aggressive offense. The Rebels outperformed the Trojans in nearly every aspect of the game. With eight blocks and sixteen steals, they stifled Troy's offensive efforts and turned those defensive plays into scoring opportunities. On offense, Ole Miss was efficient from both inside and outside the arc, shooting 46 percent from field goals overall and an impressive 42 percent from three-point range.

The home team also excelled at sharing the ball as evidenced by their sixteen assists which contributed to their balanced scoring attack. Their ability to convert turnovers into points was particularly devastating; they scored 32 points off turnovers compared to only nine by Troy. This relentless pressure led to a total of twenty-five turnovers for the visiting team.

Ole Miss also dominated fast break points with eighteen, showcasing their speed and transition game which kept fans on their feet throughout the match-up. Inside play was strong for Ole Miss as well; they scored thirty-two points in paint while limiting Troy to just sixteen.

On rebounding, both teams were nearly even with Ole Miss grabbing thirty-two rebounds against Troy's thirty-three. However, it was clear that second-chance opportunities were better utilized by Ole Miss who managed nine second-chance points.

For Troy Trojans despite being outplayed across various facets of gameplay showed resilience especially from behind the arc where they matched almost equally with eight three-pointers made at a similar percentage rate as Ole Miss'. Free throw accuracy was one area where Troy excelled hitting nearly seventy-nine percent but it wasn't enough against a determined Rebel squad.

As fans look ahead after this convincing win for Ole Miss Rebels basketball team will be preparing for another challenge on December 23rd when they face Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi at seven o'clock PM local time. Fans unable to attend can catch all action live since there are no broadcast networks scheduled yet for this upcoming game.
