In an intense matchup at Addition Financial Arena, the Ole Miss Rebels emerged victorious against the UCF Knights in men's basketball. The game was tightly contested, with both teams displaying solid performances on the court. The Rebels managed to maintain their lead throughout, ending the first half ahead by seven points and wrapping up with a two-point advantage.

The offensive efforts of the Ole Miss Rebels were led by their accuracy from both inside and beyond the arc. They shot an impressive 46 percent from two-point range and maintained a strong 40 percent from three-point territory. Free throws also played a crucial role in their win; they made 24 out of 34 attempts, translating to approximately 71 percent success rate from the line.

Defensively, both teams were evenly matched with six blocks each. However, it was in steals where there was notable disparity; while Ole Miss recorded eight steals during play, their opponents managed to surpass them with thirteen steals.

Rebounding was another area where both teams showed considerable effort. The Rebels collected twenty-nine rebounds over the course of play—twenty-two defensive and six offensive—contributing significantly to their possession retention.

Player turnovers were somewhat concerning for Ole Miss as they totaled fifteen for this game but they compensated for this by scoring fifteen points off turnovers created by their defense. Additionally, fast break situations yielded fifteen points for them which underscored their ability to capitalize on quick transitions during play.

On the other side of court, despite falling short on points scored overall (68), UCF had its moments especially when it came down to rebounding where they outperformed Ole Miss with thirty-nine rebounds—seventeen defensive and an impressive fifteen offensive—which gave them more second-chance opportunities reflected in twelve second-chance points scored compared to seven by Ole Miss.

As fans look forward to future games after such an engaging contest between these two competitors at Addition Financial Arena witnessed by over six thousand attendees; attention now turns towards upcoming fixtures as part of men’s basketball calendar.

The next game for the University of Mississippi team will be held at Frost Bank Center against California Golden Bears on December 16th at 6:30 PM Central Time Zone (CT). Fans can catch all live action broadcasted nationally through SEC Network available on channel number six hundred eleven.
