In front of a crowd of 5,517 at The Pavilion at Ole Miss, the home team showcased their dominance from the start. By halftime, the Rebels had already amassed a substantial lead with 53 points compared to the Beacons' 30. Their offensive momentum continued into the second half as they added another 45 points to their tally.

The offensive efficiency of Ole Miss was evident in their field goal percentage which stood at an impressive 56 percent for the game. They were particularly effective inside, where they scored a remarkable 64 points in paint. Their two-point shooting was also noteworthy as they made an outstanding 37 out of their total attempts.

Defensively, Ole Miss was just as formidable; they racked up an impressive total of fourteen steals and matched Valparaiso's blocks with two each. This defensive prowess translated into significant scoring opportunities for Ole Miss who capitalized on turnovers by scoring thirty-six points off them.

The Rebels also demonstrated strong teamwork with nineteen assists over the course of play and maintained control over possession by limiting themselves to only five turnovers – four fewer than their opponents' count. Their assist-to-turnover ratio stood out at nearly four times that of Valparaiso's.

On rebounding duties, Ole Miss outperformed Valparaiso by securing thirty-nine rebounds – ten being on offense which contributed to eleven second-chance points. In contrast, Valparaiso managed thirty-five rebounds but could not convert them into any points off turnovers.

Valparaiso did show resilience despite being overpowered; they shot seventy-five percent from free throw line and matched this accuracy from beyond three-point range where they made five shots from thirteen attempts – almost equaling Ole Miss’s own three-point shooting percentage.

As fans look ahead after this convincing win by Ole Miss Rebels basketball team, anticipation builds for their next matchup against University of Central Florida Knights scheduled on December fifteen past midnight local time (12:30 AM). This game will be hosted again at The Pavilion at Ole Miss in Oxford and can be watched live via SEC Network+.
