The team's performance has been nothing short of dominant, as evidenced by their last three outings. Against Bryant Bulldogs, the Rebels put up a staggering 95 points with an efficient field goal percentage of 54 percent and a free throw percentage of 68 percent. They also dominated the boards with 44 total rebounds and capitalized on turnovers, scoring 13 points off them.

Their subsequent game saw them maintain this high level of play against Southern Miss Golden Eagles. The Rebels scored 89 points while shooting an even better field goal percentage at 49 percent and maintaining a strong presence from beyond the arc with a three-point shooting rate of 58 percent. Their ability to convert opportunities into points was highlighted by scoring an impressive 26 points off turnovers.

In their matchup with Troy Trojans, although they scored fewer overall points (74), they continued to show defensive tenacity by forcing turnovers that led to scoring opportunities—32 points off turnovers—and blocking eight shots.

The upcoming game is set in Knoxville—a venue where home-court advantage can be significant—but given Ole Miss' current form, they will undoubtedly enter confident in their ability to perform under pressure.

Fans can expect Ole Miss to continue leveraging its strengths: converting defense into offense through steals and blocks while maintaining efficiency in shooting from both inside and outside the paint. Ball movement has been key for them as well; assisting on scores while keeping turnovers low will be crucial against Tennessee's defense.

Mark your calendars for January 6th when these two teams face off at Thompson-Boling Arena at 6:00 PM Eastern Time (5:00 PM Central). For those who cannot attend in person, catch all the action live on SEC Network channel number 611.
