Ole Miss Rebels Dominate Razorbacks at The Pavilion with Commanding Victory

The Ole Miss Rebels continued their impressive form, overcoming the Arkansas Razorbacks with a decisive 77-51 victory. The Rebels' record now stands at an impressive tally, while the Razorbacks fell further behind in their season's campaign.

From the outset, the Rebels took control of the game, establishing a lead that would only grow as time progressed. Their offense was firing on all cylinders, with a field goal percentage of 47 and an even more impressive three-point shooting rate of 37 percent. The team's efficiency from the free-throw line was notable as well, sinking shots at an 80 percent clip.


The Pavilion at Ole Miss witnessed a masterclass in both offensive and defensive play by the home team. The Rebels outrebounded their opponents significantly with 43 rebounds to the Razorbacks' 28. This dominance on the glass included a substantial number of offensive rebounds for Ole Miss, which led to 17 second-chance points.


Defensively, Ole Miss was just as dominant. They racked up six blocks and eight steals over the course of play. These defensive efforts translated into points off turnovers; they capitalized on Arkansas' mistakes for a total of 22 points from turnovers.


The home team also showcased superior ball movement and teamwork with an assist total that reached 17 compared to Arkansas' 13 assists. This facilitated ball movement contributed greatly to their scoring runs and helped maintain their lead throughout both halves.


Arkansas did put up resistance despite being outplayed in several key areas of the game. They managed to block eight shots and made five three-pointers but struggled overall from beyond the arc with only a 23 percent success rate from three-point range.
