The Pavilion at Ole Miss witnessed an intense battle where both teams displayed formidable offensive efforts. The home team, the Ole Miss Rebels, showcased their resilience by overcoming a three-point deficit from the first half to secure a victory in front of 8,598 spectators. The second half was particularly remarkable for the Rebels as they amassed 49 points compared to their initial 30 in the first half.

The Missouri Tigers were not far behind in terms of scoring prowess; they put up 33 points initially and improved to 43 in the latter part of the game. However, it was not enough to stave off defeat against a determined Rebel side.

The statistics reveal that both teams had similar shooting percentages from within and beyond the arc. The Tigers had an impressive free throw percentage at approximately 83 percent but were slightly less effective from two-point range with around a 47 percent success rate. From beyond three-point territory, they managed about 46 percent accuracy.

On defense, Missouri recorded three blocks and seven steals but committed twenty personal fouls which may have cost them valuable points as well as momentum during critical phases of play.

Conversely, Ole Miss demonstrated superior ball distribution with sixteen assists to ten by Missouri and capitalized on fast-break opportunities with fourteen fast break points indicating their ability to transition quickly from defense to offense. Their defensive effort also shone through four blocks and six steals contributing significantly towards disrupting Tiger's offensive flow.

Moreover, despite committing more personal fouils than their opponents (22), this aggressive style did not deter them as they maintained better control over turnovers with only thirteen compared to eight by Missouri – showcasing disciplined play under pressure.

Rebels' fans would be pleased with their team's performance beyond just scoring; they outrebounded Missouri by eight rebounds totaling thirty-five including twelve offensive boards which provided additional scoring chances via nine second-chance points – equaling that of Tiger's effort on second chances despite fewer offensive rebounds (eight).

As for individual performances without delving into specific players due to restrictions on repeating figures or events - it is clear that several members stepped up contributing across various aspects whether it be scoring or defensive plays ensuring this hard-fought win for Ole Miss.

Looking ahead after this nail-biting encounter against Missouri Tigers at home court - The Pavilion at Ole Miss - fans can catch their next game when University of Mississippi faces off against Mississippi State Bulldogs away at Humphrey Coliseum located in Starkville on February 21st scheduled for an evening tip-off around eight o'clock local time broadcasted nationally on ESPN2 channel number two hundred nine.
